Personnel Commission

Duties of the Commission

In broad terms, the members of the Personnel Commission who are appointed for a renewable period of three years, are expected to;

  1. Advise the Personnel Secretary in handling issues pertaining to the employees of Mbarara Archdiocese.
  2. Study and interpret government labor policies as effecting employees of Mbarara Archdiocese.
  3. Ensure equity, understanding and justice between the diocese and its employees.
  4. Periodically revise the conditions of service of employees in the various departments of Mbarara Archdiocese.
  5. Discuss the mode of recruitment to be used for finding right people for different positions.
  6. The commission shall handle any other matters that may be referred to them by the Archbishop.
