Duties of the Commission
In broad terms, the members of the Personnel Commission who are appointed for a renewable period of three years, are expected to;
- Advise the Personnel Secretary in handling issues pertaining to the employees of Mbarara Archdiocese.
- Study and interpret government labor policies as effecting employees of Mbarara Archdiocese.
- Ensure equity, understanding and justice between the diocese and its employees.
- Periodically revise the conditions of service of employees in the various departments of Mbarara Archdiocese.
- Discuss the mode of recruitment to be used for finding right people for different positions.
- The commission shall handle any other matters that may be referred to them by the Archbishop.
