Vision: An effective pastorally oriented Commission.

Mission: A commission of Mbarara Archdiocese that promotes pastoral activities to all people through the means of Social Communications.

Duties

1. To plan Social Communications activities of the Archdiocese.
2. To evaluate communication Activities in the Archdiocese.
3. To analyse Pastoral communication challenges and advise the Archdiocesan Authority and suggest ways to overcome them.
4. To advise the Archdiocesan Authority on the communication projects namely Radio, Print,Television and audiovisuals.
5. To work out Social Communication polity for the Social commission and revise it when need arises.
6. To plan self reliance projects to the Social communications Commission.
